Philosophy

Wealth measured
by what you pass on.

Reese Legacy Capital was built on a simple belief: real wealth isn’t measured only in dollars.
It’s measured in the opportunity, values, and security a family is able to pass on to people who aren’t born yet.

Who we are

In 1928, H.B. Reese, a dairy farmer and father of sixteen, left the farm to build something of his own. What he built became the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.

His sons sold the company to The Hershey Company in 1963, and the family turned its attention to a different kind of work: preserving what he’d built, and growing it across generations.

We bring that same long-term mindset to the families we work with today.

H.B. Reese, founder of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, and his great-grandson Robert Reese, founder of Reese Legacy Capital "Build something meant to last more than one generation. That's the standard we hold every portfolio to."

Who we serve

For families where
wealth is no longer
just about the present.

If you’re thinking about how your assets can support your children, grandchildren,
and beyond, this is the kind of firm built for that conversation.

Business owners planning succession

Turning a life’s work into a plan the next generation can actually carry forward.

Families managing inherited or accumulated wealth

Responsible, active management for assets that need to serve more than one generation.

Trustees and beneficiaries

Careful, protective trust management aligned with fiduciary standards and family intent.

Series 65 ยท Founder and CEO

Robert Reese is a Series 65-licensed investment adviser representative, and the Founder and CEO of Reese Legacy Capital.

His background includes direct, hands-on management of the Reese Family Trust, where he built his approach to security selection, risk-managed income strategies, and a discipline that blends technical and fundamental analysis under a fiduciary standard. That experience managing real family wealth, not a model portfolio, led directly to founding Reese Legacy Capital.

Before moving into capital markets, Robert built a career in sports entertainment, an entrepreneurial path that runs in the family: his great-grandfather, H.B. Reese, did the same thing four generations earlier.

He also writes and speaks publicly about markets and investing: education and transparency he considers part of the job, not separate from it.

Our approach

A legacy-first approach to wealth management.

  • Thoughtful security selection, blending fundamental and technical analysis.
  • Strategic, risk-managed use of options to generate income and manage downside.
  • Tax-efficient strategies and careful, technically sound trust administration.
  • Portfolios aligned with your family’s values and long-term goals, not just your risk tolerance.

We don’t chase short-term trends. We build portfolios designed to endure.
