Pricing
Straightforward, fee-only pricing.
Reese Legacy Capital is compensated one way: a percentage of the assets I manage for you. No commissions, no product sales, no referral arrangements, and no fee increase without your consent. Here’s exactly how it works.
Investment management fee schedule
The annual advisory fee is based on a percentage of assets under management and is billed quarterly, in arrears. As your account grows into a new tier, the rate is blended, not a flat jump, so a larger relationship is rewarded with a lower effective rate on the whole account.
| Assets under management | Annual advisory fee |
|---|---|
| $0 – $1,000,000 | 1.00% |
| $1,000,001 – $5,000,000 | 0.90% |
| $5,000,001 – $10,000,000 | 0.70% |
| $10,000,000 and above | 0.60% |
How the blended rate works. For example, on a $2,000,000 account, the fee is 1.00% on the first $1,000,000 and 0.90% on the remaining $1,000,000, a blended annual fee of $19,000 (about 0.95% overall), billed quarterly.
The minimum account size to open or maintain a relationship is $250,000, though this may be reduced or waived case by case. Fees are negotiable and can vary by the complexity of the relationship.
What this fee includes, and what it doesn’t
The advisory fee covers ongoing, direct portfolio management: the research, decisions, trading, monitoring, and reporting behind your account. It does not include brokerage commissions, transaction costs, custodian fees, or the internal expenses of any mutual funds or ETFs held in the portfolio. Those are separate costs charged by third parties, not by Reese Legacy Capital, and are disclosed in more detail in our Form ADV Part 2.
Who sets this fee
I’m Robert Reese, the founder and only advisor at Reese Legacy Capital, and a member of the XY Planning Network, NAPFA, and the Fee-Only Network. Fee-only isn’t just a label here: it’s the only way I’m paid.
